Our custom-fit Air Inlet Plugs are constructed of sturdy closed cell foam. The foam does not absorb water and is UV resistant which means the foam does not fade or breakdown which allows for a long service life.  Each Air Inlet Plug has a woven REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT safety streamer that is easily noticed by the pilot during the preflight inspection.

NACA inlets are air intakes that are streamlined into the fuselage. They're named for the National Advisory Committee to Aeronautics (NACA), the forerunner of NASA. Some are used for fresh air inlets, engine cooling, some as ram air inlets.
